Border Help

I can't decide which border to use for this wall quilt. The border will only be 2" wide; I originally chose the paw tracks for the border but not sure now. I have enough of the background green to do the border and am kind of leaning that direction. I plan on using the paw tracks for the backing and have more than enough to do both. I decided to use the blue of the sashing for the binding. Which do you like best?

I like the last one the best.
this may not fit your plans.. but I would do a thin inner border of the solid green with the print for an outer border that is wider.
i like the colorful little flowers
The paw prints. The difference in print adds more dimension.
I like the tiny flowers.
Raises paw for the multi-colored paw prints! The background option is nice too.
I like the paw prints!
The green is safe but boring. The print is fun with those little monsters
At first I thought the paw prints were polka dots but I like the paw prints better then the green. Cute top!
I like the paw prints much better. The green repeats all the block backgrounds. The paw prints makes it pop, and picks up colors in your "monsters".
How cute is that?!?! Wonderful job!!
Like the paw prints.
at first the paw prints look like polka dots and I like this maybe with a green stop border first.
What an adorable quilt!! I love the colorful fabric, but I think I like the green better for the border. Either one will be great, though.
I love the paw tracks.
Very Cute quilt! I am partial to the paw prints as they make me want to look at the quilt longer. It's more interesting to me, I guess.
Definitely the paw prints. They are perfect with the cute monsters.
The colorful paw prints for sure.
Either would look nice, but I like the green the best. I would like the paw prints better if the background wasn't white, because there's no other white in the blocks, except the whites of the animals' eyes, which doesn't even "register" on the overall picture of the top.
I like the green, your top is adorable!!
I like the one to match the background of the blocks and then bind it with the same as the sashing. I find the multicolored piece competing for my attention with the blocks themselves.
Yes, to using the paw prints for the backing. Think that would be really cute! |
Another vote for paw prints...it just adds so much fun to the cute critters.
Ditto to the paw prints for me too.
Definitely the paw prints. The green really doesn't add any interest, but the bright print brings out the colors in the monsters.
Another vote for paw prints.
What a cute top! |
I love to make "monster" quilts, what pattern is this?
I vote for the cute, colorful paw prints for the border. |
Monsters are outrageous, happy creatures and want to be bold. The footprints add the whimsy that the monsters demand. I love your monsters and some little person will too.
p.s. Just my two cents, but I think red binding would be fab. |
Is this a for-purchase pattern?
I like the white w/the prints too; sets off the quilt. The green blends in too much (IMHO)
I prefer the background green and think the paw print will be terrific on the back! The background green complements your blocks, I think, instead of competing with them.
Your quilt is adorable! |
Flowers for me.

I agree, the paw prints keep with the "theme".
I like the paw prints fabric for a border. It seems to liven your wall hanging up. The green is too bland and blends into the wall hanging too much. Cute wall hanging and share with us on your finished decision.
I like the paw prints.
How about the green for the border with the paw prints for the binding? And paw prints for the backing would be great. Love the quilt and all the wonderful colors!
The colourful one on the right is a lot more fun looking!
I like the paw print. It fits with the lively motifs in the appliqués.
