I think the border looks great. It's a perfect foil for the intense blue of the quilt. Lois

I really like it too!

I like the border, it's a great combination for the main quilt. I'm not sure what you mean by heavy though? Are you asking if the border is too wide?

Honestly, I'd go to the store. I don't think the border really matches the rest of the quilt. I think I would stick with the medium to the medium dark border..... either one of the first two colors in the second to the last row. Just my opinion.

I love it! I think it gives it a richness that it wouldn't have without it.

Because I asked for advice on a quilt I was designing, I realized that there really is a taste in quilts. Some really like their borders to be a frame others like it to blend into the quilt itself, this bias really determines the answer. If you want your quilt to be framed choose the darker if you want it to blend into the quilt match it to the interior. I really like the "frame" but each to their own.

I think its fantastic...great job!

The border works if you are trying to emphasize the orange and brown in the quilt. I think it makes the quilt feel a bit heavy but just depends on what you like. No quilt police here!

I agree that it ties the brown blocks in the main quilt together, otherwise they would seem odd. Keep it! Love the quilt.

In a word no. It looks good to me
