I like #1 and #3...and can't decide which I like better. But, maybe, #1; it's so clean and sets off your blocks so well. Beautiful quilt! Love the planet fabric!

Voting for #1 as well... the teal stops the eye and makes the larger planet border look distinct.
Love the fabric & pattern! Thanks for sharing!

My favorite is also #1. Gorgeous quilt

I like pic. #1.

I agree with number one. The white does nothing to enhance the quilt in my eyes. Very nice quilt

I like #1 best

I like #1 with just the blue boarder. Looks great though!!

Vote for first one ☝️

I like the first one. I find the edge red and turquoise strips distracting in number three - they make the pattern look incomplete when you have the white border next to the white-background blocks. In number one the blend much better. I really like the quilt (and the quilt inspector), though, so whatever you choose will be lovely!

Normally I like the additional border to make the blocks float, but on this quilt I prefer #1.

I like the first one best. Your quilt inspector sitting on the chair looks sew happy!

I'm going to disagree with everyone. I like number 3 best. More importantly, when you look at your choices, which one do you keep going back to? That's your choice.

btiny36 11-27-2016 06:33 AM

I vote #1....as it seems to finish off the center of the quilt....JMHO

I like #3 best, too, but then I'm often strange about my choices :D

#3 has my vote! the white of the background and the teal strip is my choice!

Thanks, everyone, for the votes. I finally decided on the third one and am half way through putting the borders on. I really appreciate everyone who took the time to comment.

#1 is gorgeous! The focus stays on the fabric. The other two, the focus is on the border. If you need a double border, make it all blue. Lovely quilt!

I like #3.
