My son's friend is having their first baby in November. The theme is retro/antique toys . I would love to make them a quilt. Anyone see any fabric or some ideas for me. I'm at a loss PLEASE help!!!

Found this on etsy. You could use each square in a block and surround it with matching fabrics. http://www.etsy.com/listing/15290047...-jane-look-and

I think I like the first one better - brighter colors.

Both those fabrics have retro toys in them and are perfect for you. But at $8/yd. for the first one and $18/yd. for the second one, I'd be purchasing the first one, for sure.

Try your local fabric shops and ask for retro fabric selections and patterns.
