Love the elevator floor! I can definitely see it as a quilt - done in batiks of course.

Picture does not show wall tile very well. The 4" wall blocks are various shades of almond tone on tone - some darker than others with a few strategically placed desinger floral tiles. I made a 1/2 tile border all around the outer edges & island with the 13" floor tiles.
