What luck the owner wasn't made to de-personalize the home. Every Realtor who lists a property wants it to be sterilize so the prospective buyer can imagine their own belongings in the space. I do not subscribe to that thinking and what to see how the owner lived and cared for the property so I hope your new home brings years of joy. Moosegirl

Congratulations on your new home! Too bad should wouldn't let you keep just one of her quilts to display. It would have been neat to show the work of the previous owner/quilter alongside of some of your quilts.

Lucky you! Most of us had to build our sewing rooms, your new house comes with one already. I am sure you will have many years of happy quilting in your new home.

Good for you! What good vibrations!!! I was asked to join a group of quilters that donate their quilts...I declined (and did feel a bit selfish)because I do NOT give away my quilts except to family members that I know will take very good care of my lovingly made quilts!
