Sew happy for you and hubby ! Does this mean she gave you a quilt ? ( true quilter decline requests to buy a quilt )?

azsupergram 03-24-2011 08:03 AM

for luvstoquilt = I have a book by Pat Speth and Charlene Thode called "nickel Quilt". The pattern is in that book (and I'm sure other books)> They call it Stretched Star.

azsupergram 03-24-2011 08:04 AM

Oops, the name of that book should be Nickel Quilts.

Congratulations on your new home. I too have a quilt rack but alas our house is too small to have it out so I put my quilts onthe bed.

I was thinking the same thing - realtors always go for de-personalizing a home. How wonderful you got to see her work, envision how you could use the home and you got to buy stuff to display quilts!

You'll have to post photos when you get your home settled and your quilt studio set up.

bigdogmom 03-24-2011 05:10 PM
