Maybe the quilter will leave you a small quilt as a housewarming gift. Congratulations on your new home.

I am so happy for you. I hope you and your husband get to enjoy it for many years and the sewing room is a great bonus.

Good for you

What luck the owner wasn't made to de-personalize the home. Every Realtor who lists a property wants it to be sterilize so the prospective buyer can imagine their own belongings in the space. I do not subscribe to that thinking and what to see how the owner lived and cared for the property so I hope your new home brings years of joy. Moosegirl

Congratulations on your new home! Too bad should wouldn't let you keep just one of her quilts to display. It would have been neat to show the work of the previous owner/quilter alongside of some of your quilts.

How wonderful for you. I hope the quilter who is selling is doing so for a happy reason, not because of financial hardship or poor health.
