Look what I bought recently because I saw it and had to have it. But.......how will I use it to it's best potential? I have several ideas but there are not great. Can anyone relate to this spontaneous impulsiveness and please give any creative suggestions as to how to use it? Thanks in advance.

if you can't come up with ideas....send it to me!!! end of problem!!
I would LOVE to find more of this fabric.....care to share where you found it??? jodi |
I love it!!! Gotta have it!!!!! Where did you get it? LOL
I did that with some "quilting quotes" a few years ago!! Our guild had an "ugly fabric" challenge at our quilt show last year. So I used the ugly fabric as borders around the "quotes" and WON!!! LOL. Now you are going to make me find the pics and post them; arent you!!! |
Cut it apart add sashings to make bigger and put back together
Make individual little wallhangings you can place around your sewing room. Fabric is adorable, want to share where you got it? :-D
that is so cool
Love them. I'd be busy making toss pillows and throwing them around my sewing room, LOL
That is so cute - where did you find that?
definitely make wallhangings, pillows, whatever to decorate your sewing room! Love em!
How about shopping bags for fabric shopping?
love the wall hanging idea. Put them up in place around the house where you have to be but can't be because life gets in the way. That way you can look at it and smile.
Okay, Stitchin, where did you find these. Absolutely adorable and finally something I want for my very own!!
Make a lap quilt for either yourself or another quilter. She/he would be more likely to enjoy this kind of pattern.
By the way, my address is.. |
Why not just frame them and hang them as pictures in your sewing room? Cute fabric..enjoy..Linda B.
WOOO HOOO I FOUND THEM!!!! :):):):)
See what you started?? Maybe we should have a contest?? LOL http://www.equilter.com/cgi-bin/webc...34111318918.69 |
I would make a big lap quilt and really, really enjoy it.
The fabric pics would make great pincushions! The big oversize square pincushions are fantastic and so useful, they never get lost on the sewing table. Dust covers for your machine, a slip cover for your sewing chair comes to mind too.
How cute!

I would also use it to make something to hang in the sewing room. If you are a traveling quilter, you could applique some of these on your sewing machine cover, tote bags, etc, for your quilting stuff you carry.

Now you are going to make me find the pics and post them; arent you!!! I bought it in Cornwall UK at a small quilt shop. It was the last one. It's made by Nutex and called Quilting Quips. I have searched for more on line and found it on Ebay here in Uk. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nutex-Quilters...-/110625441581 I will let you know what I decide to do. Hope the link helps and maybe some of you can get some. We will have to show the finished projects and compare! Thank you all. |
Lap quilt or pillows or wall hanging.
Split them up and make wall hangings for your entire house. Where did you find that fabric? Impulse buy most of us would buy! |

How about a window box?

These are precious. I just ordered a set. Would be a cute wall hanging, pillows, tote bags, machine covers, framed seperately and hung in a group, little gifts for quilting friends. Thanks to whoever sent the site to buy them.
I bought some fabric that's similar, but more vintage quilter's. I think I'll make a couple of sewing machine covers with mine
