This is a name for a type of block made with a 1/4 circle and and outer piece, called Pie and A LA Mode by some. These can be arranged in a wide number of ways. It can be confusing, as the unit with several sub-blocks is also called drunkard's path. The individual sub units can be anywhere from 3 or 4 " to 12". I think 4 or 6" are most common. This is a very common pattern. You can draw it yourself with a compass on the finished block size you want, (adding seam allowances) or download it from places like quilterscache.com The one I drew up takes 4 wide and 4 high of these 24" larger squares to make a 96" quilt.
The pattern is available thru almost any block list, such as quilterscache.com drunkard's path quilt, without border |

Here's a nice two-color quilt that could be done in almost any two complimentary colors:
I wish I could get the photos to show up in my post instead of as files, but the directions keep telling me to "hit the browse button". Of course, I cannot find a "browse button" anywhere in this area. Can anyone clear this up for me? Warmest regards! Oh, I see. You put them in the file box areas, and they open up into pictures once you send the file. Neat!
