Haha, I just had someone call me a Pincushion Queen! Well... they're cute. Oh, and here's a batch of my latest cuteness. Little felted wool balls (about 1-1/2" in diameter). Who can resist?

That's quite a collection. Mine is much smaller but I'm working on it. I see you're from my neck of the woods. I live in Sugarhouse.

dressmakergurl....have you seen the free dressform pincushion pattern on the DIY network? I have made a bunch of them, they are not too hard.
I made 41 pumpkin pincushions to sell this weekend at a small craft fair. |
I think they make for a cute display!!! Keep collecting! :-) I'm inspired to make some now...thanks for the pics.

Thanks for posting. I like pin cushions and like to sometimes give them as gifts. I am currently making a hat pincushion. Thanks for the owl. My college grand daughters are into owls. Maybe a stocking stuffer for them at Christmas.
I find even non sewers like a pincushion gift. |
Mahalo to each and every one of you who posted photos, ideas, and/or links.
I love pincushions and, NO, you can't have too many. For those with CATS who perceive toy sized pincushions as an invitation to steal and play with them, keep your collection inside a large clear glass jar with a lid. :) |
