Nightvision is the closest I fonud and it has the off set triangles too but just the center. I used my "bock tool qith 102 patterns and it wasn't in there. Sorry.I will follow. I want to know now too.

That surely is the "Double Aster" block and the pattern and directions can be found at www.quilterscache.com Just look for their pull down menu which says something like "where do you want to go today?" Go to the "Free Patterns". Then you can either look up the pattern in alphabetical order or by size. This pattern makes a 12" block, which is 12.5" unfinished.

If you are not familiar with Quilter's Cache, it is one of my favorite sites. It is good for reference, free pattern blocks, layouts and free templates.

You can print out their patterns on your home printer. Just a FYI. If you print a pattern, be sure to look down at the bottom of the page you print and see it there is a page 2 and a page 3. You must print each page seperately. It does not automatically go to page 2. If you don't do this, you will end up with only the first page of your directions. Also look in the top right hand side of the page and see if there is a link to templates, if they are needed for that pattern.

Hope this helps.

Like I said, this is one of my favorite "go-to" sites. If you can't find it there.....well, I don't know where to tell you to look.

As mentioned by other board members, patterns are named/renamed depending on which book or magazaine you looking at. This pattern is featured in July/Aug '10 Quiltmaker. They call it Star Harvest. Imagine it in Xmas colors!

I found the same block in "Quiltemaker Book" July/Aug issue, they call it the "star harvest" starts on page 63. Hope this helps, love the design and was thinking of trying it, myself.
