Can You Spot the Oopsie?

I have fixed it but it was not easy to "Spot" hint hint. Sorry for poor quality phone pic.

Tartan 12-04-2013 12:56 PM

It really isn't very noticeable but it is a great top.

JudyTheSewer 12-04-2013 12:57 PM

That was a fun "puzzle". I always wonder why I don't notice those when I'm constructing the quilt - LOL. I always fix them too. I've begun taking pictures of my design wall because somehow it is easier for me to see issues in the picture than in person.

MadQuilter 12-04-2013 12:57 PM

That was not easy to spot.

lynnie 12-04-2013 01:00 PM

I didn't notice it was an oopsie. thought it was ment to be

gabeway 12-04-2013 02:09 PM

Wouldn't have noticed it without knowing there was one.

Crqltr 12-04-2013 02:14 PM

Took me awhile....would never have noticed it!

nativetexan 12-04-2013 02:29 PM

everything looks right side up, so that's good. maybe the black and white fabric block near the bottom could be turned a bit so the smaller square inside would be more to the right. but it looks fine otherwise.

GEMRM 12-04-2013 02:39 PM

Are we starting a new thread " spot the oopsie"????? LOL

joyce blint 12-04-2013 05:15 PM

Okay, b4 I drive myself nutty looking, can someone tell me what it is?

MacThayer 12-04-2013 05:27 PM

I believe it's in the second row from the bottom, middle square. It needs to be turned so that the inside square is closer to the right side of the square, like all of the rest. Am I right?

Mrs Finch 12-04-2013 08:18 PM

All the little squares need to be mooo-ved to the right. Has everyone "spotted" it now? Can't help the corny jokes.

Dolphyngyrl 12-04-2013 09:29 PM

This reminded me of where's waldo

karate lady 12-05-2013 12:58 AM

I had to really look to see it. Don't worry about it...smile...

Merivale 12-05-2013 03:10 AM

Not easy to spot this oops. Gosh, if my mistakes were as kind as this one my quilts would get finished a whole lot quicker.

If that's it, I have to say I LIKE it that way! I always like patterns with one black sheep, one Sunbonnet Sue facing the wrong way, etc. I usually do that to my patterns, even when they aren't written that way.

Shayla 12-05-2013 03:50 AM

Took a little time, but let's just say it adds some dimension to the quilt - what a fun design!

Retired Fire Chief 12-05-2013 03:59 AM

Thats' cute, I had to re-read your hint before I found it. It's one of those no one would notice if you didn't say anything. I would leave it, it makes it your signature.

Debbie C 12-05-2013 04:05 AM

it's just fine - as American Indians always put in an 'oopsie' when beading, I love that idea and purposefully put one in all of my quilts. That's just me...

toverly 12-05-2013 04:10 AM

Wow, if that's an oopsie, good job. It took a while for me to spot it and not without your "clue". It wouldn't bother me a bit. My oopsies, are usually in the way of quilting such as tucks and gathers. I'd leave it.

twinkie 12-05-2013 04:22 AM

It took a few minutes to find it but I don't think a "non quilter" would have noticed.

Yooper32 12-05-2013 04:26 AM

I think that this was a "happy accident", as Bob Ross would have put it. Much too boring if all were the same.

KathyKat 12-05-2013 04:37 AM

I wouldn't have noticed it . Had to look really hard several times to spot it so don't worry about it.

The pattern I have calls for the blocks to be in all different positions. With the busyness of the quilt, it really doesn't stick out. Don't worry.

Without your HINT I am not sure I would have found this……..Nice Top!!

mjhaess 12-05-2013 07:40 AM

It is still a great top....

Murphy1 12-05-2013 08:02 AM

Glad someone told. I would never have noticed it. Fun fabrics.

Susanna10 12-05-2013 09:04 AM

Had a hard time finding it. I always look at quilts as a whole.

Mariposa 12-05-2013 09:10 AM

Looks great either way! :)

solstice3 12-05-2013 10:16 AM

Where's Waldo???? I can't find it

BillieJean 12-05-2013 11:05 AM

I don't see any...

azwendyg 12-05-2013 11:11 AM

It took me awhile to find it, but I did. I usually notice those kinds of problems on my own work easier in a picture than when inspecting the real thing...

Reminds me of the Sesame Street game "which of these don't belong?" But much harder to solve. Lol! Pretty quilt.

MargeD 12-05-2013 12:05 PM

If there is an oops, I cannot find it. Cute quilt.

ILoveToQuilt 12-05-2013 02:15 PM

Love your quilt. There's no such thing as an "oopsie"...it is YOUR personal design element! LOL

I think I see what you are referring to but I don't think it's a big deal given all the different prints involved. If it were only a two or three color theme, it would probably stand out a more.

mighty 12-05-2013 02:31 PM

Never would have noticed it!!!!

mrs. fitz 12-05-2013 03:15 PM

Not feeling well today and really can't concentrate. I've looked carefully but don't see it. Would someone pls tell me?

quiltjoey 12-05-2013 04:09 PM

When I looked at it, I knew it had to do with the bottom two rows but wasn't sure what it was until someone pointed it out. I probably never figured it out..

caspharm 12-05-2013 04:10 PM

I found it, but it is one of those where setting it up can cause you to miss it after seeing it so often, then your brain reads as correct until you put it together.

Glad you fixed it, but it might have been fun to leave it and see who would find it :).
