# 3 gives a burst of color while nicely highlighting the design. #1 & 2 overwhelm the pattern with so much yellow.
Yellow is a "screamer color": the eye goes to it first and it drives the response to the whole quilt. |
I like 2 best, it's not as busy - you want to be able to sleep on it.
|
I like 1 or 3.
|
3 - definitely.

I like #3...with teal border and purple binding.

I think #1 is the best. The yellow gives it a nice pop!

I will be using Rhonda's Clara Dugout Blocks to make the blocks that I need for the quilt. But not figured out which one to use yet or whether to use sashing between the blocks, and what color of fabric. I also need to figure out which one of the colors of fabric that are in the block to use as the boarder. Here are three different blocks that I made up on my EQ 6 program. Can you tell me which block you like the best. I like three the best, but I think you should swap the fabrics in the center block. Here are three block using the three different colors: |
I like #2 - the teal is really pretty

I like 3 the best. But it is whatever you decide. Great work so far!:)

Number 2 seems to be the calmest, with less bright yellow. I vote number 2
|
I like 1 best
|
#3 catches my eye. Too much yellow in #1.
|
I like # 3 best, the colors seem to blend better. I think I would use the teal or maybe a white for the binding. I don't think you need an border on it. There is so much color there now and the bright yellow seems to overwhelm the teal and purple. Are all of the blocks already made up, or are the 3 pics. from pages colored in? If these blocks have not been sewn yet, I would suggest a softer pale yellow, if you can find one. Just my opinion. I'm not the greatest fan of yellow, but not meant to offend anyone or hurt feelings, but those three colors to me look like each is fighting to be the dominant color.

I think my choice is block #2. The yellow isn't quite as over-powering in it. I like the yellow but the other blocks the yellow is more bunched up together.

I definitely like the #1 the best, however the other are still nice. :):):)

#3 is my choice. What a lucky niece you have as she will be the recipient of a beautiful quilt.
|
I like 3 best.
|
3 with a calmer yellow. 2 second choice
|
I think all three have too much yellow. I love yellow but I think in this quilt it should be used as an eye catching wow. The second or third block if a little less yellow was used. Yellow also represents caution to most people so a little goes a long ways.
