I think that's my vote, too, but honestly... it's beautiful either way. It really is a great quilt!

I would not use the pink. The first border is dark and "heavy" - it needs to be on the outside. I guess this is another No on the pink...

I like the pink. It makes the rest stand out more IMHO

Unless you have to make it bigger I would vote to not add the pink. IMHO the overall design works better just the way it is. Beautiful colors....nice job!

I like it without the pink - the dark fabric frames the center and gives the eye a place to stop.

My vote is to end with the black.

For those interested, and being that the OP has not come back here .... she's started a new thread today where she's pulled off the dark border ...... and is now asking for your opinions
