I love the green. But the entire project is awesome.

carolynjo 07-07-2015 04:25 AM

Red first and then green second. The brown seems to not show up at all. Beautiful cross, by the way.

Reba'squilts 07-07-2015 04:33 AM

I like the red too!

MaggieLou 07-07-2015 04:50 AM

I like both the green and brown. Can you do a tutorial for the block?

red-warrior 07-07-2015 04:56 AM

I too like the red!

cjaneky 07-07-2015 05:09 AM

I like the Red

shasta5718 07-07-2015 05:42 AM

I think the green brings out the cross.

sewbizgirl 07-07-2015 06:19 AM

I love the green... very tranquil.

trolleystation 07-07-2015 07:46 AM

Burgundy for me................

Mariposa 07-07-2015 08:01 AM

I vote for the green~~ :)

annette1952 07-07-2015 08:16 AM

I really like the red. Green is second.

Karen Mc 07-07-2015 09:08 AM

Your cross is beautifully done! I can't decide on color, they are all very nice. I am sure what ever you decide will look lovely!

Quilterdale 07-07-2015 10:43 AM

Love the burgundy and would really like to see a burgundy square where the cross pieces meet on the cross. Green would be my second choice and I don't care for the brown at all.

MargeD 07-07-2015 10:59 AM

Your mini cross is beautiful, you did a great job on it. Any of the 3 fabrics would work, and my first choice would have been the read, however, in looking at the fabrics again, I think I'd go with the green. Nice job.

Monale 07-07-2015 11:23 AM

Thank you all for your help! I counted the votes, and green has a small majority before red. That's exactly what I felt, looking at it again today. So I will go with green!

What's your vote? Red, brown or green? Thanks for your help!

Brown i think would look nice myself.

junegerbracht 07-07-2015 12:45 PM

I vote for the red. The green blends in with the cross too much and the brown doesn't add much in my opinion. Lovely job and whatever you choose will be lovely.

SewingSew 07-07-2015 12:49 PM

Definitely red first, green second. "For god so loved the world" would be beautiful embroidered in gold cursive on the cross.

Latrinka 07-07-2015 12:55 PM

I vote for the red, makes the cross stand out more than the other colors.

Daleen 07-07-2015 03:30 PM

I like the red.

Jackie R 07-07-2015 05:24 PM

I like the burgundy or the green choices.

roserips 07-07-2015 05:27 PM

So to add to your confussion I will add my 2 cents. The brown is from the cross and looks very nice in a low key kind of way, I rulled out the burgundy since it does not coordinate with anything, and the green is perfect it makes your block pop and it represents growth and reading your bible everyday is spiritual growth. I love it.

klgreene 07-07-2015 06:11 PM

Looking at the pictures, the cross stood out most to me on the green.

ctrysass2012 07-07-2015 08:30 PM

1st choice - burgundy, 2nd - green. Really like the cross.

nunnyJo 07-08-2015 02:48 AM

mine also would be brown but I love green

JanieH 07-08-2015 02:49 AM

I like the green for my first choice and the red for my second. Can't wait to see the finished one and see what you chose!

Texas_Sue 07-08-2015 04:48 AM

I agree - I think I like the brown best.

So will you count up the votes and go with the winner? All are nice, but my vote is for the green! It just flows better with the block.

Momala24 07-08-2015 09:13 AM

I would choose either the green or brown, and favour the green over the brown just a bit.

AudreyB 07-08-2015 07:42 PM

Green. It makes the cross "pop"

purplefiend 07-09-2015 03:33 PM

I tried to make a quilted Bible cover. After struggling to get that silly zipper in correctly for 2 days; I decided that I would save my sanity and just go buy one.

I like the green.

feline fanatic 07-10-2015 09:18 AM

I realize you have already decided on the green which I do like, but I am a sucker for meaning and symbolism so my vote was for the red for the symbolism of Christ's blood shed so freely for us. Your LC cross is very nice. I look forward to seeing the picture when it is done.

Karen G 07-10-2015 04:48 PM

Green!!!!!

calla 07-10-2015 04:51 PM

I really like it, what a great idea............did you draw up the pattern yourself? And yes, the green for growth for sure............remember the wordless book from SS? calla

The idea for the cross was inspired by this pattern:
http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilt...T_ATTR=PATTERN
I made it a little smaller because this would be a wallhanging. I just drew up 4 little log cabins for paper piecing.

For the cover, I have no pattern, I just sew a zipper on and bind it.
