Can't get my mini iron tip to heat up
Its a Clover Mini Iron.
I bought it new a few months back but have only just tried it. the handle gets warm but the tip is stone cold. does anyone have any suggestions pls? |
It takes longer for the mini irons to heat - about 5 mins at least, but the handle should not be warm. I'd say you should take it back.

oh my, i would contact the company too. electrical things are nothing to play with. good luck.

I took two back before I found one that would work. Try a small travel iron. Just as good.

My mini iron II heats up super quick, I would take it back
|
I have one also that does not heat up either. Taking it back is a good idea, but I can't find the slip......
|
Take it back.
I decided I did not like my Clover mini iron. I kept putting my finger on that screw and burning myself. I invented new cuss words every time I plugged that dang thing in. Then I bought a Dritz Petite Press and fell in love. It has 4 heat settings, an attached stand, and an adjustable pivoting head. I love it so much, I bought 2 more - one for a friend and the other for backup. You can get them at Joann's on the notions wall. Best thing - when they have notions 50% off, that includes the Petite Press! :) |
