Can't get my mini iron tip to heat up

Default Can't get my mini iron tip to heat up

Its a Clover Mini Iron.
I bought it new a few months back but have only just tried it.

the handle gets warm but the tip is stone cold.

does anyone have any suggestions pls?

It takes longer for the mini irons to heat - about 5 mins at least, but the handle should not be warm. I'd say you should take it back.

oh my, i would contact the company too. electrical things are nothing to play with. good luck.

I took two back before I found one that would work. Try a small travel iron. Just as good.

I have one also that does not heat up either. Taking it back is a good idea, but I can't find the slip......

Take it back.

I decided I did not like my Clover mini iron. I kept putting my finger on that screw and burning myself. I invented new cuss words every time I plugged that dang thing in.
Then I bought a Dritz Petite Press and fell in love. It has 4 heat settings, an attached stand, and an adjustable pivoting head. I love it so much, I bought 2 more - one for a friend and the other for backup. You can get them at Joann's on the notions wall. Best thing - when they have notions 50% off, that includes the Petite Press!
