Congrats!!! That is very exciting news!!
|
How exciting---it is too good to keep a secret, though daughter's desire is understandable. Pediatricians say babies love bright colors. That is a good starting point.
I still love pastels so you could make a "Grandma's house" quilt using pastels to snuggle when visiting you. |
Fun! Congrats! My son is 4 and DH and I were surprised that you don't put blankets in the cribs until the baby is almost a year old. Those blanket sleepers were great.
That gives more time to make quilts. The 34x34 quilt lasted about 9 months and then a 45x45 and so on as he grew. Now he's in a twin bed and i need to get on a twin quilt. |
Congratulations on your first Grandchild!

Wonderful news. Happy baby sewing.

Congratulations! I have three grandkids and they all so special.

Congratulations....I would be the same of having to tell someone the special "surprise gift" of a first grandchild...let the fun begin :)

congratulations. I know just how you feel. I was sworn to secrecy for all four of mine, but I shared it with my best friend - who lives nowhere close to me or them, so it was safe! I couldn't even tell my mother!

Congrats! I have 3 grandkids, I so love to spoil them then send them home...lol

They've decided they are not going to find out the sex of the baby until it's born so I definitely can't do either blue or pink. I do machine embroidery and will be doing a Pooh quilt with embroidered squares, but I also want to do a generic baby quilt to give to her soon as a congratulations quilt. I'm so excited! Thanks for letting me share with all of you.
