I got a call from a friend today telling me to get down to angels attic because they had a table full of fabric's for only a buck a piece.
So I went down there and my friend had a cart full of fabric'c. She is not a sewer so she was just picking out stuff she thought I would like. I found 11 peices that I liked I thought that is all I can spend. I went to the register and they were only $.50 a piece no matter how many yards were in a piece. So I went back and found 8 more pieces plus a quilt magazine for a dime.
I got 15 pieces of quilty fabric's a total of 38 yards.
2 pieces of muslin a total of 7 yards.
2 pieces of wool a total of 5 yards.
49 yards all together. My hands were shaking when I left the thrift shop. I just couldn't believe it all that for less then $10.00. I am still shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am, I'm in the process of making her an over sized king quilt and toppers for her dressers. I'm also making a quilt for one of her son's out of his old jeans but he doesn't know it.
