What great ideas!! I have seen the fabric but inspiration did not hit. Think these would make great gifts.

Late response to questions: I bought it at JoAnn's Fabrics; use "regular" boxed chalk; it does wipe clean with a dry cloth. It can we cleaned with a damp cloth, but they suggest to "re-season" it after washing. That consists of just using the side of a piece of chalk and chauking the entire surface, they wiping it off. Love the other ideas posted also.
