Song has been chosen, but I thought of
Old man river Amerca, the beautiful |
Re: all the purple people eater questions. Here are the lyrics:
"I said Mr Purple People Eater what's your line? He said eating purple people and it sure is fine But that's not the reason that I came to land I wanna get a job in a rock 'n roll band" So I guess in theory he could be any color you want, but I've always thought of him as being purple. |

I like Carole King's "Our House" Our house is a very very very fine house. With 2 cats in the yard, life used to be so hard. Now everything is easy cause of you........
"Love Letters in the Sand" also gives lots of block possibilities. This is a fun challenge. |
How about;
"I'll give you a daisy a day dear".by Hank Snow.o "How much is that doggy in the window?" "Summertime and the living is easy" "True Colours" "There ain't nobody here but us chickens" Okay I could go on but I'll stop know. what a fun idea! |
What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong could be very dynamic.

I have fabric with clock faces on it I have been saving to do Jim Croce's Time In A Bottle. There are lots of Jar and bottle patterns on line. There is also a line in it about a box full of wishes, I'm still working on that.

I just think this idea based on a song would make a great theme for a challenge block for a quilt show.
