Decorating a shopping bag

It is beautiful . The only thing I would have changed is to make the star in the middle of brighter fabric. What a great'
idea and your stars are perfect. Very nice.

Great job! Here's what I did with some bags. Used my orphan blocks & hot glue. The kitty one was used as a carry on when I went to China to see my DGK last Oct.

If you are actually use them for groceries I would not do much more as they will get hard ware. If only occasional use I would as some vines and leaves in the negative areas. Great idea

My first thought was to use the orphan blocks I have and use them as pockets as someone else mentioned. But, do I have to take the seams apart to sew it on?

I think giant yellow buttons would look better than the little bows. The bows don't really add much and they don't really tie in to your really cool folded hexes.

I agree. Yellow buttons would be better. Love your bag!
