So I am trying to decide, what project would be best suited to work on while in this mess and decided to dig out my hexie UFO. Portable, no machine needed.

My question is, what do you like to work on to keep sane when things go topsy-turvy??

A good book!

Love to get suggestions!

I always keep afghan stitch wash cloths handy. They fit ito a suitcase easily and can be picked up any time. On the other hand, the bowl of ice cream seems to top any project I can think of!! Great idea.

I have used the hex's for just this purpose. I have a queen size- all hand sewn and a twin that I maching app'd on muslin sqrs. I love hand work, find it relaxing.

I wish needlepoint would come back into "fashion." I used to do it a lot of it and recently came across my supplies while decluttering the basement in preparation for the remodel. Where do you find your needlepoint patterns and supplies? I will google it, but it's nice to have a personal recommendation, too. Thanks.

My go-to items are usually embroidery and crocheting. I like their "portability". But I have now started a yo-yo project and will probably be taking that along with me.
