I checked out this machine and it looks like it will do fine and the price is right for me. I went ahead and ordered one and will save my big quilts for it. Right now I can start on the small, twin and crib sizes. Thanks for all your input.

I second the recommendation of the allbrands website. I bought my Singer from them over 10 years ago and the shipping was fast and the machine was and still is perfect. I just can't FMQ on it, darn it.

I have a Brother 1500 for those big projects, purchased it on Amazon for less than $600, really like it!
