I was at a paper-piecing workshop 2 weeks ago and one of our new guild members brought one to sew on. Hers was blue and she said it works great. She bought for her granddaughter to learn to sew on.
I bet it's made by Janome. Looks like a really good basic machine for $99.
I have one! I found it at a thrift store for $30. And I really like it for taking along with me. Not a lot of stitches, but for basic piecing it's great. You can't really free motion quilt on it, though.
I have the pink one. I got it 2 years ago for christmas, and yes it is made by Janome.
I only use it for classes, so it rides in a matching pink bag in the trunk of my car! I'd love to find the blue one, but have only seen it in the US. Theresa |
My Dd have a small machine hidden in her room. I wonder if it is the same. She hides things so I can't find them.
Ok, how about purple? That's really cute!
I want the one in pink....LOL
Is this for real??? That is the cutest thing ever! Looks like it could be smaller than the FW? Would be perfect for trips & all.
Oh, I think it needs to be in red too. Then again, if Dell can make all the colors in their laptops, then bring on the colors in these on the go machines. Love them. SO cute

I googled it too, and if you're in the Charlotte NC area, the Sears Outlet store has one for $55!. They don't ship:(
rusty |
Looking at the pink one, it has KENMORE written on the machine. must be look-alikes !!!!!!!!! |
Janome (which I think makes Kenmore) has a mini version as well and not as expensive. I bet they are very comparable to this one, except you can only get them in white. Usually you can find them for about $39.99 on sale.
Yes, my pink one is a Kenmore, but it is made by Janome, cause I've seen the same one in white up here with Janome written on it.
What I meant was yes, it is made by Janome!!! Theresa |
That is a cutie. Great for classes
now about those "baby" machines. Do they go through the terrible two's stage (my baby lock is almost 2, should I worry?) Do "baby" machines grow up to be ornery adolescents? BIG machines too heavy for travel? Is there a growth retardant spray to keep them in the "baby" stage? And by the way I love my baby lock. the old "adult" phaff 130 is sulking in the closet because it doesn't get used much anymore.
What a cutie.
I have the blue one. I bought it at Sears. Have a 12 pack cooler that I carry it in.
