That will be a modern, fun quilt!
|
I have the rows done for a baby quilt for my daughter who is expecting in December. I used a white background which has small red and blue stars, with red and blue chevrons. I used 2 red stripes and 3 blue ones, and will have Texas fabric on the back. I love the simplicity of chevron quilts. Finally realized I had to make one when I realized I had pinned a bunch on pinterest. I love the blue and orange together. :-)

Looks great to me- I agree try white/blue/white/orange/white etc before you start sewing just to make sure you're choosing from all the possibilities. I think you're going to be very pleased with it. Can't wait to see the pictures!

I saw one on display at a quilt shop and it was very eye catching. I love the fabrics you selected for your quilt and they look great. Go for it!

I can't get this idea out of my head now. Lol. Once I stop hating triangles so much I'm adding a chevron quilt to my list.
