I am turning to my friends to please help me find Christian fabric suitable for the back of a quilt. Of course I need it as a fair price. I've been commissioned to make a T shirt using T shirts from my friends church camp years. I thought something Christian related would make a nice back.

You could piece the backing, using squares, piece a cross

Timeless Treasures has what you are looking for. It is a good quality fabric so it may cost a little bit more. I have found it at www.hayloftfabrics.com

About how much do you need?

I have a piece of navy fabric with gold lettering that has different bible versus on it. Probably not enough for backing but if you wanted to add it with something else you're welcome to it. Just let me know.

I saw some at Hobby Lobby today. Really like it. They didn't have enough. I'm going to check their on line store and/or check other stores in the area. I'm not quite ready for it, but I do like to plan ahead.

Yep, I was going to mention this one, but somebody beat me to it. They have an entire section of Christian fabric.

Hobby Lobby has a whole line of Christian fabric and it is always 30% off. They are Christian oriented and a good place for many things you need.

Also check with ladyelisabeth here on the board. She has excellent quality fabric (buys from our Portland, Or manufacturer) I have picked up some beautiful fabric from her and very reasonably priced. She can't advertise or sell on the board yet. She just joined recently.

I haven't been in Hobby Lobby for sometime but they used to sell Christian themed fabric.

Do you have a Hobby Lobby store near you? They have a lot of it here. It is really beautiful,too.

Hobby Lobby is where I buy mine from as well. The have very nice fabrics and they also have some listed online as well.

If you are near a Hobby Lobby, they used to carry some with little fishes on it.

Joann fabric has a light blue, a cream and a brown covered in crosses they had a line called faith rocks in very bright colors

Hobby Lobby is the only place I know that has several styles of Christian fabric.

There is a quilt shop called The Spider Web that I have found has Christian fabrics I have been pleased with. You might check them out.
