It is a big hit. A lot of their friends do not cook!

Dotty, don't suppose you could give us that recipe, could you?

i can not make candy of any sort so here is my recipe:

1 bag chocolate chips or whatever flavor you want
1 can frosting coordinated your flavor with chips
melt both in micro stirring till all melted and blended
pour into cake pan and let set up sometimes you have to keep it in the fridge.

we liked the pb chips and chocolate frosting the best
i know not like moms but quick and easy in a pinch!

thank you it is done in verigated thread with blending filament boy is that stuff a bear to work with i never relized till now looking at it you can really see where i carried over thread i guess that is why you are not supposed to oh well she loved it that was all that mattered by the way the reason i picked lillys for her was it was her first xmas as a mommy and single one too she has twins mason and lily so the three flowers are to represent her and the kids she almost started crying. if i can get tears or close to tears out of someone for one of my gifts it makes all the work worthwhile.

I started a Thomas Kincade cross stitch about 5 or 6 years ago. It had gold and perl thread runnug through it. I have worked on it now and then and I finally finished it up so DD will get it for Christmas. talk about hard, that gold and perl stuff was always tangeling. needless to say there won't be anymore o those type of pictures. I decided to give everyone cross stitch this year because my eyes are getting worse and I think after this I will have to give up that craft. a shame, I really like to do it.

Ok, if it's any help. I sewed pj pants for all my boys. Two years ago.
They loved them. And still wear them.
Hmmm maybe it is time for a new pair.
I have 4 boys. 1 girl. 2 nieces.
was thinking about the "little purse thingy" and some towel wraps for the girls. Just been hunting for some towels in there colors.

Anyone have a pattern for a hacky sak?

Another thought was the last year. thiings were so tiight.
I raided the bathroom trash. taking the tiloet Paper rolls.

wrapped them in Decorative wrap. And tied twisty ribbon on the ends. After stuffiing the little crazies full of treats.

The kids loved them. Gave each of the girls a pen and notebook. For notes or diary.
