Christmas Table Runner
 

Finished! This one was so fun! Fabric was 50% off at Hobby Lobby ... backing is white on white (snowflake design), batting is flannel. Look closely and you can see the little piece over the white is twisted. I thought about FMQing the border, but it distracted from the holly design, so I stitched in the ditch around the red section. SO FUN!

No ... I wanted a pretty new runner for the coffee table in my family room where we have the Christmas tree. I'm keeping it! At least for now! I had so much fun with this one, I may need to whip up another! :)

Thanks! I can see this one done in a baby quilt! A little one would have fun getting their tiny fingers in there and playing with the twists! There would be no problem with them coming loose because those twists are sewn twice. First with 1/8" seam to hold it to the block, then 1/4" when assembling the center.
