One of the vendors at tne NQA show gave a talk on washing your cutting mat in the bathtub with midld dish detergent and letting it dry completely while laying flat. He said it makes the mat last longer.

I too use a nylon bath scrubbie. The one I have has a loop to hang it so it's always handy next to my cutting mat. Just scrub around in circles and presto....LINT IS GONE.

You're supposed to clean them? Wow, learn something new every day! LOL. Well, I do run a lint roller over them when they get fuzzy.

I used a piece of window screening...it got all the fuzzies (batting, etc.) out of the grooves.

LOL I was thinking the same thing...... have probibly wiped it down a time or 2, maybe thats why the fab dosen't scoot around, burr/velcro like finish :lol: :lol:
