Like them both....I personally like the muted 2nd....but, the purple pops certainly works. WOW, I think HeartofWisdom (Can't go back or I'll lose my thoughts...yes, true) your Pinterest page is awesome. Love the purples and greens:)

Yes, I would use the purple fabric, it gives the quilt more of a sparkle. The other is fine to but my choice would be to add the purple.

Ladies, thank you so very much for all your comments and advise, all is very much appreciated.
now that the quilt top is finished (not quilted yet), I think that both versions would be nice. I went with the purple color and made it into 82 x 104" quilt, did not plan to make it so big but it will cover queen size bed very nicely. Now I need to order some batting and decide how to quilt it (any suggestions here would also be appreciated) Thank you once more |
