I know we have lots of button collectors here. Anyone totallylove old thimbles? I even collect just the palin old metal and plastic ones, just think they are so cool!

I have several that were my grt aunt's and grt and grandmothers, as well as my mother's. Afew of them date back to Germany

I collect thimbles even though I haven't found any cool ones lately. My GF started me on it when she brought me back a thimble from her travels. Mine are not the old ones - but I like them for the looks.

I collect all types, try to get one from places I travel and always on the lookout in antique/junk stores.

I just started and most of my thimbles are from friends and family that have traveled and brought them back to me. They are so beautiful.

i've got a couple, but no real place to display them. i don't use them.

I have a few cool ones from my grandmother. I think I'd enjoy collecting them, but the useable kind, not purely decorative.

I really don't collect thimbles, but I have a few from button tins I've purchased. Just found an advertising thimble from S.S. Kresge. :thumbup:

I have my mother-in-law's thimble. I have bought some to add to hers. I have may be six.
I also have some of my mothers wood spools of thread. I have about seven. They are the small spools. |
