I love Bonnie Hunter's quilts, but wondered what else people might be making that would be quick and easy.
You're right, May, I'm wondering about how to use the smallish pieces that are bigger than what you'd use to stuff a dog pillow, but less than, say, a half yard. |

I just made a top yesterday. I went through all my yellow and blue scraps and cut 6 1/2 in. squares. Sewed them together only making sure the same fabric wasn't in any row across. Pieced them 9 across X 12 down. Had a really nice heavy flannel sheet from a garage sale and cut that for backing. I'm taking it to my quilt club meeting today to pin. I'm making a strip quilt out of other scraps, but that is taking longer. I'm making these for the eastern NY flood victims. Thank you! I need specifics and this is exactly what I wanted to know...fabric selection, cutting size, the whole thing-I need to be able to see or have enough description to visualize the finished product Your quilt sounds pretty and I love that you were able to put it together so quickly.
