I really love their thread, 100% Egyptian cotton, I think it is great. I order when it is on sale.

Thanks for all the responses, I will definitely order the batting. I am tempted to try some fabric, but I really don't need it...we'll see.

They are a great company to deal with. Fabric is lovely and they (sigh) add new medleys often (tough on the budget but at their prices who can refuse?).

If you compare pricing on their pre-cut items it comes out to exactly the same price as the fabric per yard!!!! Others charge you for their labor to cut which is built into the price.

Make sure the package is labelled correctly if you live OS as I have had issues with the way they label packages resulting in my packages being checked by quarantine which incurrs an extra cost to me!

I got an email from them yesterday and they also have a lot of good looking fabric for $3 and$4 a yard. Many would be great for backing because they have very small patterns or just tone on tone. Look for it in their clearance tab at the top of their website. I couldn't believe their thread prices. I am glad to hear that their thread is good...looks like I will be ordering some.

I like the threads and have gotten some nice fabrics from them. Their Christmas catalogue arrived today and I was very impressed with how nicely it's put together, very appealing displays of product and their usual good values. I'd like it all!!!!

Great site - order from them all the time and am never disappointed. Threads are good. Love their prices clearance items - great to buy in quantity to use for backings. Kits are very generous - ususally have enough left over for a small project. Nice to have the extra if you make a mistake (which I never do LOL).
