I would definitely give it my best shot!! That would be so much fun.

What a question to ask on a quilting forum! I just hope it would happen early enough in the day to get it done before the store closed!

My local church quilting group "Patchwork of Grace" would probably get the majority of it.

I could easily spend that much. But would I have room in my house for all that I purchased? That's the real question. :D

Absolutely NO PROBLEM.........I would buy the fabrics by the bolt............and get 10 to 12 bolts of coordinating fabric for every quilt I ever dreamed of making.........I figure less than a full day.........That would only be about 75 bolts of fabric at average price of $10 per yard (LQS rates) with an averag of 20 yards per bolt..........GEEZ - I could get this done by LUNCH!!

I have already responded to the question but I shared this proposition with my son and husband (who are very tolerant, even solicitous, about my addictions to fabric, patterns, tools, and sewing machines). It took my husband several minutes to stop laughing...he even had a couple of tears run down his cheeks. My son's reaction was a little more vocal but bottom line was concerned, like his father, that I'd have nothing to do in the afternoon!

I'd die trying! <G> And I know just where I'd start. I'd be buying batiks by the bolt, in every color of the rainbow. And for that kind of money, I'd invest in some good quality silk to make a silk quilt or two or three. Boy, that set the dream machine working!
