The Craftsy classes are very reasonable and a resource I appreciate very much. You have it forever and that is very important to me. I learn things from them and I am not afraid to take them because I can watch them over and over until I get it right. The classes on PBS are going away slowly but surely and I learned most of my skills from them. This is very good. Just buy them when they are on sale and you won't be paying too much.

I highly recommend Craftsy Classes. I have taken many of them and have never regretted spending the money. All were worth the price.

I have purchased 3 or 4 Craftsy classes, especially when they were at a good sale price, like the Carol Doak paper piecing class for under $20. I've taken classes from Carol Doak, (live) and her Craftsy class is just as good as being there in person. I like the Craftsy classes because I can "attend" them when it is convenient for me and I don't have to leave home to attend them, especially in snowy weather.

It doesn't have it (or didn't last time I checked). There is a playon app that I have a lifetime subscription for and they claim to have that functionality but so far it's very wonky for most people. I tried it and it would not load a video (on some other site-I didn't even get far enough into it to try it at craftsy). We are in the market for a new tv and i want a smart tv but they cost about 2 or 3 times more so I am 99.99% positive dh won't go for that.

I watch one lesson each night before I go to bed each night. I have enjoyed the quilting classes. The free one on knives is also very interesting.

I have taken several of the classes and I think they are really good and detailed. And it is yours for ever. They run sales all the time... I usually don't pay more that $20, and most LQS charge more than that...

I used XP for Craftsy....I had to use Google Chrome for the browser. Sign up for one of the free mini classes and give it a try.

I love, love Cindy Needham's whole cloth classes...so far her classes are my favorite!

I tried it with playon but the videos are apparently in a format that they don't support. I won't be buying any more craftsy videos if they're going to make it this difficult to watch on a device other than my computer. :( A lot of people are asking for other options on their facebook but they don't seem to care.
