Hello I have made 3 the links are below. The last one I made I used Textile medium to keep from fading. They are Beautiful quilts,fun to make but somewhat time consuming. Still loved doing them but glad I am finished. Gonna make myself one someday. The 3 were for GreatGrands 1 Girl the pixie 2 Boys.

You can buy transfer pencils to trace the design with then iron it onto the fabric. Draw around the design with a .05 pigma pen then fill in with the Prang brand crayons. Then you sandwich between paper towels and press with a dry iron. Prang is 6.98 but has 64 colors and is softer than Crayola. They have more pigment in them and better color retention. They have iron on transfers but I didnt care for any of them.
