How funny - Karen lives in the next town over from me - I read her blog faithfully. She is SO creative. I have to say that one tip she gave that I use is that my light and my iron are both plugged into the same power strip. When I turn off the power strip to shut the light off - I'm guaranteed to turn off that iron too!

thanks for the cool link

that is a great tip

Really nice and pretty to look at but I hate having my fabric exposed to the light. I have been using a book shelf for years that I covered the front of with fabric curtains. My husband just made doors for it and inside the doors put shelves. Now I can store my rulers, current project patterns, small cutting mat etc etc. It really neatened the place up getting that stuff out of sight.

I do not know how this works. IF the question was for me or not.... if it was..Thank you. I did the quilt design myself. The outer blocks are just 4 inch log cabins set up as shown. The finished strips are 1/2" wide (1 inch cuts)and the inner block is titled Poppy #90-23 from Distinctive Florals. The web site is www.DistinctivePieces.com They had a lot to choose from at the quilt show. I have not been on the website. Hope that helps.
