That sounds like a grreat idea with the greens. I have 11 grandchildren and I'm not sure I have that many scraps but I sure do have a great start on it. :D It is windy and cool here in Southern California also. After being in the 90's in my area for about a week, it is nice but the heat will return with a vengence before long. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks! I went to quiltville.com as well, and I am now enthused. I've done large square scrap flannel quilts, I'm not sure I'd attempt a crumb square out of flannel, but cotton sounds pretty good!

Oh, I agree, they ARE fun ! On days when I want to sew but don't want to have to think too much:) I do crumb blocks. I almost have enough for a twin size quilt. I don't think I am going to use batting just back it in flannel and quilt it

I TOO WONDERED WHAT A CRUMB QUILT WAS. AFTER GOING TO THE QUILTVILLE SITE IT LOOKS LIKE A FUN THING TO DO,
