I have looked everywhere for the thread (is that the proper term?) some kind soul entered here about a "crumb" block, It looked interesting, so I copied it and put it my file.

About two weeks ago I got it out and started playing with it....and she was right...it is FUN!!. In fact, it quickly became addictive, just as she warned, and is now about to turn into a king-sized bed quilt for me.

Whoever you are, kind soul..THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU!

Can you share the block pattern again, I missed it and it sounds very intriguing. Thanks

dlf0122quiltiang - Here is the website that gives you a tutorial, there really is no pattern, as you just use up all your scraps starting in the middle with a smaller piece and line up larger and larger pieces along the straight outer edges, just trim up if you find you have odd angles it has to be a straight edge to allow your block to layer flat and even :D

Thank you so much, I have so many scraps and just don't know what to do with all of them. This gives me NO excuses, does it? Thanks again.

I have been making a quilt out of Mossy Oak camo, army green and hunter green for grandson. Been saving little triangles and sewing them together. Didn't know it was called crumbs. That's cute name for it. I going to make him some throw pillows out of the crumbs. Just can't seem to waste anything. I'm real careful what I throw away. Have fun and a good day. Windy in East Texas today.
