My DH gave me a fishing filet glove to use. So far I haven't used it.

Having said that though, I have to confess to slicing off the side of the tip of my left index finget with my rotary cutter one time. That thing bled for 3 days no matter now much pressure I used. I would still never fool with that floppy looking glove though. |
Guess I live on the edge too. Never thought of trying a no slice and dice glove. So far, so good, but I'm sure the time will come. Ouch!

I would never wear one. I've been using a rotary cutter since it came out and I've never cut myself. |

but do they prevent cuts?

I don't wear a glove but I am very careful. So far. knock on wood, I haven't cut myself. Just take your time when cutting & be aware of where your hand is.
