While cleaning in my sewing room , I came across this skirt. I found this awhile back at the thrift store on bag day . Its brand new, 100% cotton. I fell in love with the print and thought... ooohh, that would make a great purse or maybe a quilt. I have fabric in my stash that would coordinate either way and have several different wooden and plastic handles for purses. But, I just can't decide. What do you all think?

I was thinking it would make a very pretty apron too. But if choices are purse or quilt, I would say purse. It is pretty fabric.

Well..... it looks like its purse so far. Someone mentioned apron as well, and looking at it again...pillows came to mind. :lol: Going to drag out my purse and pillow patterns now, haven't ruled out apron either. Oh boy!

It would make a very unique purse. Think about it, you would have a one of a kind handbag..............guess you can tell I vote for the purse. I hope you will post a pic of whatever you make.

I would just wear it as a skirt. I wear lots of skirts in the summer. I find them more comfortable and cooler, and they don't climb up my thighs!

I'm a water aerobic instructor. It would make a great tote for my swimsuit and gear. The material even looks beachy or poolish.
