Right now I have a piece of flannel thumb-tacked to the wall but I want to change that to a mobile wall that can go where I go. I'm wearing myself out running between the wall and my sewing machine. I'm making a double wedding ring quilt and I don't know what I would do without my wall.

I sewed two pieces of flannel and made a pocket for a rod and use it to cover where the closet sliding doors were. Serves two purposes , I also have a foam sheet on a wall not too big, about 4 x 4 , use that to put smaller projects.
Both work fine.

Mine is a foam piece of housing insulation from Lowes with a piece of twin sized batting wrapped around it and duct taped to the back with some of the 3M Velcro strips placed all of the back to hold it to wall. I like the foam so I can pin stuff to it. I

My design board is like a window shade. It's approximately 4 feet wide and easily 6 to 7 feet long. I mounted it above a closet doorway and what I really like about it is, when it's not in use it is rolled up under a wooden cornice type box and is out of site.
