How terrific! I loved that quilt the first time I saw it, but I love the story even more. I think this needs to be in a big quilting magazine now. It's a quilt anybody would be proud of.

Thank you so much for sharing his story with us. I read the whole thing twice. And his picture is just fine. What a survivor story. I am so proud of you both.
I thought Cathy MIller, the singing quilter's., 1" sq quilts were awesome......his really are stupendous... I cannot believe the size in those squares. Awesome quilt and story. Hugs to you both. Happy HOlidays. |
WOW -- thanks for sharing your hubby's story!! It is wonderful to know that courage and determination can bring someone back from what could have been a totally disabilitating stroke. The story of the quilt is also amazing!! I cannot even imagine making a quilt with pieces that small, let alone with that number of pieces.
Congratulations to you both!!! |
It is a beautiful quilt and a beautiful story. May you make many more quilts!

That's such an inspiring story, and just in time for Christmas. I remember reading your original thread about the quilt and being so amazed. Best wishes to you and your husband on this wonderful achievement and also on his recovery.
