Your husband is very determined man, bet you are very proud of him. Recovering from the stroke as much as possible and then to make that stunning quilt, WOW!!!

sewmuchlove 12-21-2011 10:40 AM

What a blessing that he would share his story, recovery, and tenacity within this magazine. He certainly is and will continue to be an inspiration to all of us who are aging. Beautiful quilt too.

Merry Christmas and warmest wishes for a blessed New Year.

Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Determination and hard work are a winning combination. I'm so glad he is doing well.

Lady Crafter 12-21-2011 10:40 AM

Great accomplishment ... both your hubby and the quilt ... and beautiful quilt.

cwessel47 12-21-2011 02:41 PM

Thank you for sharing. Your DH is one determined guy! I'm gonna need a link to your original posting 'cause the one in the magazine isn't big enough for these old eyes. Even in miniature it looks absolutely amazing! I recently did some work with 1'4" squares and that is a mighty BIG challenge. Happy holidays. May your DH continue on his journey to full recovery. What an inspiration!

cwessel47 12-21-2011 02:43 PM

Oh - I see it now. Holy moly!

twixbar 12-21-2011 02:48 PM

Krisb 12-21-2011 05:28 PM

Your husband is a truly amazingly determined man, and you must be a wonderful companion/spouse/caregiver. Obviously, togetHer you can do anything.

thepolyparrot 12-21-2011 05:56 PM

Absolutely unbelieveable. This is feat enough for someone who isn't recovering from a stroke! Just incredible!

xsquilter 12-21-2011 06:03 PM

WOW! What an accomplishment! And I know YOU endured a lot of hard work too. Your support & encouragement sure paid off! Bless you both.

jaciqltznok 12-21-2011 06:13 PM

KerryK 12-21-2011 07:31 PM

The quilt and your husband are both A M A Z I N G! I would say that I could not imagine the determination it took to make the quilt, but when I read about your husband's determination to recover, I can see where the determination for the quilt came from. God bless you both, and I wish you many more happy years of quilting together!

buslady 12-22-2011 04:00 AM

OMG. God being the operative word here. God bless you both. That is an incredible experience, and an incredible man. Thanks for sharing his story and that beautiful quilt.
