Yeah!! Yeah!! I am so excited my pattern arrived today. I cant wait to get started on quilt. I am going to do a trial run on this one before I get the material I want. Wish me luck, I need it for sure

I got mine today. Now the big decision - drop some projects in progress and move this to the head of the line or wait to start it when I finish the current ones. Decisions, decisions....

I did a Diamond log cabin quilt over 20 years ago from a pattern I saw on TV that was for a Tablecloth. Turned out beautiful, done in fall colors. Started on Thanksgiving day and finished it by Christmas,for a gift. Hand quilted in the ditch. It has only left his bed to occasionally be washed. He loves it. Enjoy working on yours. They are beautiful when finished.

Gosh, how I love those quilts...ordered the pattern and hope it gets here today...I simply am chasing down the mail person and I'm not sure if they are delivering on Sat. anymore. One of my friends said they are closing PO's on Sat. What's with that and the working people?

They are trying to change it to Monday-Friday but I haven't heard that it has passed yet. They are trying to save money by cutting down delivery by a day :roll:

How does that differ from a regular log cabin and where did you get the pattern?

WOW!!! I just finished my first diamond and is it easy with dunsters directions. As soon as I get the first ring done I will take a picture for everyone I love it...

I am so happy to get that feedback! If anyone has a problem with the directions, I hope you will let me know. I will be glad to explain further, and will fix the problem in any future printings. My email address is on the pattern.

OK - with work being as intense as it is with the insurance claims industry in the spring, with all of the storms, floods, etc. - I am still not finished............have to add my last round, the border, and the 4 final rectangles.....I did mine in browns and golds.....here are a few pics......Hope you enjoy!!

THANKS TO DUNSTER FOR A WONDERFUL PROJECT.....this one is worth putting the other UFOs aside and working from start to finish.

OK - I added the wrong pics....those were before I stitched the blocks and rounds together..........Here are the more current pics...rounds 1, 2 & 3 all done (not pressed)....will post more after I add the round 4 blocks, the inner border, and the 4 triangles to square it up...
