Now I have FQs and 1/2 yard pieces and yard pieces. (I'm attaching a pic of what I have so far.) I'm thinking I could do a quilt, maybe a tote bag. Any suggestions of things you've seen with this fabric? Thanks for your input! |

I love Dick and Jane. I made two. The first I bought a kit and made for my little niece, and the second I just duplicated the first. It was a purchase request from another family member.
The pic is of the second one (pattern was mostly from the kit). Sally Look |
I had those books in the first grade. I guess I already knew how to read, because while the kids took turns reading a page aloud, I was reading ahead in the back of the book. When it was my turn to read aloud, I never knew what page I was supposed to be reading! lol

Wow, that brings back memories! I don't think I would want to cut into any of them.

Great pics!

From a Thimbleberries book, there is a pattern called 'Hopscotch' I actually made a Dick and Jane quilt from this pattern, sbsolutely love it-
Looks like you are so very close to be able to do a Turning 20 quilt also, which would showcase each print. |
Why would they need to know who Dick and Jane are? The object of reading is to learn new things!
