Fabulous!!!!
That is going to be gorgeous ~ any way you put it together!
HI seasaw2inch. Looks like you came up with a very clever design. We both love our EQ programs !! Good Luck with dealing with all those pieces. You must have the patience of an angel. Will be looking forward to seeing a photo of the quilt top.

very cool!

All I can say is, this would be a three-bottle-of-glue quilt for sure!
"That quilt looks like it'd be pretty easy, I give it one Elmer" "I'm working on a three Elmer quilt and it's killing me!" LOL! (maybe I just need coffee but this is seriously cracking me up...) |
Absolutely beautiful you did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing a quilt completed in it.
I like the on-point and no sashing. I look forward to seeing it as a real quilt. Be sure to post a picture of it when you finish.
Glad you have it licked, because I kept wondering, how on earth are you going to construct those corners.??
I agree that it looks best on point and you must pick a name. It is very cool. What size is the block?
New to me! Gorgeous in a whole quilt, and such variety in the layout. Are you going to publish it?
That is the joy of creating when you can come up with a new block or idea.
Your design is wonderful! I agree ... on point and no sashing is my favorite.
How very kind and generous of you to share your lovely idea! Will be waiting to see this lovely idea come to life!
Striking! Keep us posted. Thanks
Sure hope you post a tute! This is a fabulous design!!!
Wow that IS beautiful!! I like it in the first photo the best but of the settings are pretty.
I would call it seesaw. Congrads.
Love your new block and the name you chose and like it best in the first example on point without sashing. I can't wait to see your photos!
Beautiful block! I love them all but I love the movement in the first one.

Great job! On point without sashing it is stunning! Isn't it fun to come up with something new? Congrats on your new block and the amazing quilt it is going to make.
I've never seen that specific quilt block before, and I know a lot about quilt blocks! It's a beautiful design; I hope you don't mind if I try it out? The number of pieces doesn't bother me, as I like working on the more complicated blocks. Great work! You can now call yourself a "Designer", because you've designed a novel block. Congratulations!
Very nice block
Any of the 3 lay outs with be beautiful.
Each setting has some great features I like them all!
Great movement in this block. Looks original to me. Like prayer block.
I love the first one! It looks like circles, but there isn't a one in the entire quilt. I'll have to see if I can make the block in EQ7.
Very creative! |
Beautiful! I like it on point best! And I Love the name too!
The on point version is amazing. I would buy the pattern in a heartbeat!
I love your new block. On point was my favorite layout.

I find that I need to reduce the size of the PDF file before posting. With my iMac ... I open the PDF file ... click on Save As ... open Quartz Filter and choose Reduce File Size ... then Save.
Thanks everyone but it still doesn't work.
I did go back and make it into a word document and then clicked save as PDF, it did save it as such but that didn't help either for some reason unknown to me. I even sent a copy to someone here and they said they couldn't open it either so I'm at a lost. I can open the PDF on my computer just fine so I don't know why it won't work on another computer. As far as file size, I'm way below what it could be so that isn't a issue. I sent a copy to one of the site managers to see if she can figure out what is going on but that's all I can do for now. As soon as I figure out what to do to make this work, I will post it in the "Tutorial" section. |
Pretty cool!
OK PatriciaJ got the files figured out and they are now posted in the Tutorials under "Sue's Prayer Block with patterns"
Hope you enjoy making them. |
