I also have cut back on my book purchases. If it is a new method that I want to learn or one that I 'just have to have' okay sometime I do purchase. But I have some books in my 'library' that I only have looked at all the 'pretty quilts'.

I don't buy books anymore either.

I only buy Quilt in a Day books and then only with a Joanns coupon.
I have bought some 3.99 books from Edward R Hamilton bookseller since they are cheap and the shipping is 3.50 per order of as many books as you want. Most are not worth more than what I paid but nice to have.

I have a long list of bookmarks on this site. Thats my "to do list". I rarely even look at new quiltbooks anymore. I get far more inspiration here than from books!

The jelly roll quilt books I have seen are just remakes of other patterns using 2 1/2" strips.
